Call For New

Published in 2023 to mark the 100th anniversary of The Taiwan Minpao, “Call For New” reflects the legacy of early intellectuals who used print media to enlighten society and pursue freedom of thought. The design centers on the motif of the eye, connecting visual styles across time to evoke a sense of historical continuity. A recreated edition of The Taiwan Minpao forms the cover, printed on textured paper to mimic newsprint. Inside, interactive layouts represent past, present, and now—expressing vision and awareness. A custom envelope case protects the book while enabling refined display.
