2024 Plug-in Dragons Red Envelope Sleeves

In 2024, we reimagined the traditional red envelope by designing reusable “sleeves” instead of envelopes themselves. Collaborating with Wutonggong, we transformed three traditional dragon motifs into wrapping sleeve designs that can be applied to any envelope, instantly turning it into a Year of the Dragon edition. This approach not only preserves cultural elements but also promotes sustainability through reuse. Old envelopes, store-bought ones, or even loose cash can be refreshed and repurposed. By redefining the format, the design creates a continuous cycle of blessings—blending tradition, playfulness, and eco-conscious thinking.
