Dassai Sake Cake Packaging
About the project
Packaging
This packaging design for AJIJIMAN’s sake cake by Shoshin (Amo Cakes) features Dassai sake and shochu as key ingredients. Tracing the origin of flavor, we centered the design on “rice,” translating the idea of purity into a visual language. A soft rice-white palette conveys Japanese elegance, accented by minimal rice and grain motifs with gold foil detailing. The logo is reimagined as ripples formed by a grain falling into water, symbolizing the infusion of sake into the cake. This ripple motif extends to the inner box and aluminum pouch, enhancing the sensory impression of aroma. The one-piece box structure includes a built-in slot for the cake knife, balancing simplicity, functionality, and sustainability.
